DC8 patch to load CFW 5.02 GEN-A by Alpha_PCT

This will patch DC8 to load CFW 5.02 GEN-A

Requirements:
Magic Memory Stick

Create Magic Memory Stick using this guides:
Installation: Creating the Magic Memory Stick (thru PSP)
Pandora Deluxe (thru PC and memory card reader/PSP)


Installation:

Download & Extract DCGEN then copy (PSP folder and 500.PBP) to root of the memory stick then exit.



Note: This will overwrite your existing DC8 (CFW 5.00 m33-4)

In XMB Run DC8 (you need to use DC8 included in this patch)

then Run 5.02GEN-A for DC8 (it's in French) just press O to start patching..

Now you have patched your DC8 to load CFW 5.02 GEN-A.

Enjoy!

Questions:

1. Does the 500.pbp use the official 5.00 update eboot or the 5.02 eboot?

2. What about the Test M33 function of dc8, will it work (but test the gen-a fw) or not?

3. Will the nand tools of dc8 still work with this patched dc8?

2. hindi ko sure bro kasi pag pinili mo yung test m33 magre-reboot lang siya..

3. yes bro working yung Nand Tool (as far as Dump Nand is concern)
hindi ko natest yung Restore NAND, Format Lflash, IDStorage Tools

dc gen patch walang laman 0 bytes.. pano matetesting ng maayos ito..  !bandhead

since 5.02 is a just patch update most likely just a couple of files were only modified from 5.00. the patcher (eboot.pbp) probably includes these files and just overwrites the files from the 5.00 eboot.pbp file.

bakit kaya hindi mag2loy 2loy yung pag patch niya tapos may lumabas na hindi ko maintindihan,xmb lang nabasa ko

ganun na lang siguro gagawin ko muna [No Text Speak Please]. ask ko lang pwede kaya sabay na 5.00m33-4 at 5.02 Gen A sa isang memory, yung isa nakapatch yung isa naman yung dati pa rin .?

eh kung updater yung dalawa puwede kaya?rename mo lang yung isa para pwede magsama sa iisang folder.
